Holiday Zephyr

I was so inspired by Heidi's little red bakkie that I am nominating this blog-week 'the week of the cars'. More contributions, everyone!

I don't know when this photo was taken, but I'd guess it was some time in the 1950s. (I'm basing that assumption on there being no babies or small children with Mom.) Smuts says it's a Consul or a Zephyr. A zephyr is a wind. What a wonderful picture, imagining this car going like the wind!

And is that the sea on the other side of the wall? Mom looks gloriously holiday-ish.
