More importantly, the boys are our cousins Brian and Hilton, the sons of Dad's brother Ron and Ron's wife Yvette. These photos were taken in 1960, on the day of my christening, in our Bryanston garden. That's Heidi, who was three years old, with Brian and Hilton. Brian is twelve and Hilton is nine.
Sadly, Hilton passed away this week after being ill for some time. He was almost 61. RIP.
(That's Mom and me. I've just had her pearls remodelled into a single long strand and I wear them often. How lovely that she's wearing them at my christening!)
